Baba ve Ogul AdinaJan 2008, Istanbul - Vahe Berberian’s highly acclaimed novel In the Name of the Father and the Son was translated into Turkish and published in Istanbul, Turkey by Aras Press. The novel was translated by Talin Suciyan and edited by Maral Aktokmakyan and Rober Koptas.

Originally published in Los Angeles, in 1999, In the Name of the Father and the Son is a compelling novel about a young man living in Hollywood, during the early ’80s. He lives with his father, a devout bibliophile. Both father and son share a sense of guilt over the death of the eldest son who was killed in Beirut, during the Civil War. The tension between father and son intensifies when they befriend a young prostitute, offering her shelter.
