Yevaylen

A Wet Paint Production, in association with Argus Pictures. Produced by Ara Madzounian and Vahé Berberian.

A hilarious monologue about growing up in an Armenian family in Lebanon. Vahé describes his experiences as a member of the Armenian Diaspora. The monologue was performed live in several cities across the US. A performance of this piece was recorded live on video at Rococo, in Pasadena, California in August 2000, and is currently available.

Vahé states, “I think this is the best way of bringing together the actor and the writer inside of me, by simply telling stories. These are stories from my childhood … stories about my family and meditations on the archetypical Armenian.”
